Winter Youth Conference

We hold our annual Winter Youth Conference in February at Camp Caraway in Asheboro, NC.  All youth, ages 13 and up, are welcome!  We welcome members and non-members for a weekend of fellowship, leadership, service and fun!  Youth are guaranteed to make new friends and visit with old ones!  This Conference is designed to teach youth about themselves, strengthen their character, develop leadership skills, work with a team and think outside the box.  They also learn how to make a difference in their communities through a community service project such as donating canned foods to a local food bank.

This is also a weekend for youth to shine as leaders.  Interviews are held for our Youth Team and Ambassador applicants.  New State Officers are elected by their peers as well.  We also hold our state Public Speaking and Sign-a-Song contest at this event.  Winners will attend Eastern Regional Youth Conference during April for a chance to attend National Grange Convention held in November.  The "Best in Show" winners attend the National Grange Convention and receive $100 for performing at the Convention.
