Winter Youth Conference
Winter Youth Conference is held in February at Camp Caraway in Asheboro, NC. All youth, ages 13 and up, are welcome! We welcome members and non-members for a weekend of fellowship, leadership, service, and fun! Youth are guaranteed to make new friends and visit with old ones. This Conference is designed to teach youth about themselves, strengthen their character, develop leadership skills, work with a team, and think outside the box. They also learn how to make a difference in their communities through a service project, such as donating canned foods to a local food bank.
Interviews are held for our Youth Team and Ambassador applicants. New State officers are elected by their peers during this conference. We hold our state public speaking and sign-a-song contest at this event. Winners will attend a regional youth conference for a chance to attend National Grange Convention held in November. The “Best of Show” winners attend the National Grange Convention and receive $100 for performing at Convention.
This fun, safe, “mini camp” weekend is one that you won’t want to miss! Make plans to join the fun and make lifelong friendships!
