Part-Time Student Scholarship

During our 2026 State Convention a resolution was put forth to amend the NC Grange scholarship applications. Out of this process, the part-time student scholarship was created. Previously, only full-time students were eligible for NC Grange scholarships.

Applicants are awarded based on completed work with a reimbursement process.

Requirements:

• Part-time student attending a higher learning institution pursing a degree or certificate program. Qualifying institutions are two and four-year colleges and universities, community colleges or trade schools.

• Applicant must be active in local or state Grange activities.

Scholarships are awarded up to $1000 per semester, paid directly to the student on a reimbursement basis. Reimbursement will be made for classes completed with a grade of A or B or also non-traditionally graded courses if transcripts indicate the class was satisfactorily completed.

Reimbursable expenses include tuition and class specific expenses.
