Jessica Horton graduated from NC State on May 8, 2026 from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a Horticulture Certificate at the Hunt Library on Centennial Campus. At the 2026 Family Conference in Asheville Grangers worked as one big team to complete the many steps of beginning to assemble quilt blocks. Following Erica Arndt's tutorial on YouTube and her printed directions, Grangers were divided into four groups, cutting different pieces of the finished pattern, Ohio Star. Yesterday over 2,000 students from mostly eastern North and South Carolina visited the University of Mount Olive's AgFest. This huge event covered a large portion of their campus with dozens of vendors. Students arrived and were given "bingo" cards to complete by visiting each vendor. Jennie, Jessica and David spoke with high school students, teachers and Mt. Olive students nonstop from 10AM-4PM giving out endless information about the Grange.
