Staff Member Graduates

Jessica Horton graduated from NC State on May 8, 2026 from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a Horticulture Certificate at the Hunt Library on Centennial Campus.

She pursued this program following a love of gardening and the start of the VilleWorth Grange and community garden inception in 2021.

Her favorite class was plant propagation taught by Lis Meyer. "Learning about the process of grafting, stem cuttings, leaf cuttings, tissue culture, etc. was fascinating."
